The SARChI Chair Teaching and Learning of the University of Johannesburg, Prof Shireen Motala, is hosting a book launch of 'The Decolonization of Knowledge: Radical Ideas and the Shaping of Institutions in South Africa and Beyond' by Prof Jonathan Jansen and Dr Cyrill Walters (both Stellenbosch University). The discussant is Prof Chika Sehoole (University of Pretoria)
The book discusses the decolonisation of the curriculum in the context of demands for decolonisation in South African institutions of higher education since #RhodesMustFall.
